The Fito brand originates from a teaching passed down from Japanese culture: Fito means “feet” in Japanese. Ancient Japanese people had realized that to provide stability to the feet and back, it was necessary to find an alternative solution to traditional clogs, thus they developed special fulcrum clogs called “geta” sandals. Geta sandals were characterized by a base on which the foot rests and one or two fulcrums that improved stability and comfort. The enduring teaching is that of respecting the harmony of foot support on the ground, allowing it to roll. This is the principle that inspired us.
