This post-operative shoe is designed for the treatment of hallux valgus, diabetic ulcers on the forefoot and midfoot. The rigid biomechanical sole provides greater stability, allowing the patient to walk safely without the use of crutches; the rigid sole reduces the risk of re-ulceration in diabetic patients by over 50%. The 8° Talisman insole, included in the package, transfers pressure from the forefoot to the rearfoot due to its 8° inclination. The upper adapts to the various sizes of the foot to be accommodated; its special construction allows for the containment of the operated foot, eliminating any pressure points; heel stabilization is ensured by the anatomical construction of the product, preventing heel rotation during the contact and mid-stance phases. It is possible to insert a selective discharge insole. The sole, thanks to its configuration, helps simulate a natural walking gait.
